AUGUST 2026

Jesus never intended the Lord's prayer to become a religious ritual. He gave it to his disciples as a pattern for living every day under the rule and reign of God. Every phrase reveals another characteristic of kingdom citizenship.
As we pray these words, we are inviting God's kingdom to shape our character, our priorities, our relationships,
and our witness.
This month we will gather around God's word each morning with coffee in one hand and our Bible in the other, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us how kingdom people think, pray, live, and serve. By the end of August our prayer is not simply that we will know the Lord's prayer better, but that we will live it out more faithfully.
WEEK ONE
Our Father Which Art in Heaven..."
Kingdom identity
knowing the King Personally
SCRIPTURE FOCUS
St. Matthew 6:9 | Romans 8:15-17
Galatians 4:1-7 | St. John 1:12
GET THIS
Everything in the kingdom begins with relationship, before Jesus teaches us what to ask for he teaches us who we belong to. God is not merely Creator or Judge, He is our father. Kingdom culture begins when we stop living like spiritual orphans and start living as sons and daughters of the King.
BIBLE STUDY TRUTH'S
1. We pray from relationship not religion.
Prayer is conversation with our father, not performance before people.
2 . We pray with confidence
Because Christ opened the way we approached to God, boldly and expectantly.
3. We Pray as Family
Jesus says "Our Father," reminding us that Kingdom life is never lived alone.
PERSONAL APPLICATION
-
Begin each morning thanking God for adopting you into His family.
-
Replace fear with Trust
-
Treat fellow believers as brothers and sisters.
-
Let your identity come from Christ--not your circumstances
KINGDOM DECLARATION
" I belong to my Heavenly Father, I am Loved, accepted, forgiven and
called to represent His Kingdom today."

Romans 12:1-2 | St. Luke 22:42
GET THIS
Kingdom people don't ask God to bless their plans first, they surrender to His plans. Everyday becomes an opportunity to bring heaven's values into earth's culture.
BIBLE STUDY TRUTH'S
1. Honor God's Name
His holiness deserves our worship before our request.
2. Seek God's Kingdom First
The Kingdom is God's government ruling in the hearts of His people.
3. Submit to God's Will
Obedience is the highest expression of love.
PERSONAL APPLICATION
Ask yourself each morning:

Does my schedule honor God?

People who have received Grace must extend Grace.
